    Daffy Down DIlly Had Come to Town #171
    Nursery Rhyme SERIES
    (1938 to 1948)
    Condition is Pre Owned.  She has nappy hair and the cloth is worn with age and has creases from storage. The ribbons are fraying. The right side of her face has some surface chips to the paint where there is some crazing to the finish.There is some scuffs on the bottom of her feet. Her overskirt has a stain where the safety pin is and is fraying at the back. Does not have original packaging.
    Here is a superb example of the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll #171 "Daffy Down Dilly Had Come to Town" from the Nursery Rhyme Series.
    On the back is imprinted: "Storybook Doll USA 11"
    Does not have original packaging or original tags.
    She is all bisque with jointed shoulders, frozen legs, and approx 5.5" tall. Her body is in great condition.
    Beautifully painted features, rosy cheeks, and a brown mohair wig with curls.
    She wears a Yellow dress w/ yellow overskirt with ribbon accent, and a yellow felt hat. There is a safety pin on back.  She is wearing pantaloons w/ no lace.  Black painted slippers have some scuffs to the paint on the bottom.
    Does not come with stand or the Nancy Ann Encyclopedia (only includes snapshot of where doll was found in the book). There is a paper form added under the skirt to make it look full for the pictures and will not come with doll.
