DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
Up for sale is a vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Bisque NASB Doll # 253 "In Powder and Crinoline Series Lady in Waiting Eugenie Marie". It is in it’s original box. It measures about 6” tall with the hat.
Nancy Ann operated from 1936 until 1971 and was founded by Nancy Ann Abbott in San Francisco, California.  The first small dolls were made of all bisque, later dolls are made of hard plastic. I think this one is from the 1930’s early 1940’s based on it is made of bisque with a one piece body with frozen legs & painted facial features and jointed at arms.
The feathers on the hat are pressed and probably a bit damaged. There is some aging and soiling. I have shown example photographs as I am limited to only 12. I can provide more if you ask me for them. The dress has some darkening and some spots/staining on the dress.  There is a musky odor. The box some edge/corner damage and there is some soiling and other wear along with yellowing from aging. Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs.
I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use. I will identify or describe any unusual or notable wear and damage in the description of the item or in the photographs but please email me if you have specific concerns I have not addressed.
