The Varsity Schutt F7 helmet is the newest helmet in the Schutt Sports family of football helmets. This helmet features the new Tectonic Plate 3DM system to help improve the management of rotational energy and impact absorption. The moveable plates, along with five other layers of protection, create the ultimate energy management system. The Schutt F7 has the TPU Surefit AiR liner, allowing air to move more freely creating a more secure and customized fit. The F7 face guards offered features a tapered design for increased range of motion and decreased impact area, promoting more of a glancing blow on frontal impacts.
Tectonic Plate 3DM System (Three Dimensional Movement)
TPU outer layer (newly designed). Placed under the plates and on top of the shell, this energy management layer absorbs impact and helps distribute the energy of the hit
Flexural resistance shelf strengthens the shell in key places from ear to ear for added energy disbursement
External stabilizer helps strengthen the jaw flap and works in tandem with the internal stabilization system to
improve the fit and comfort of the helmet (Helmet Stabilization System)
