Nancy Ann Storybook Doll"A January Merry Maid for New Year #187"  Dolls of the Month Series. Back stamp reads STORY BOOK DOLL USA. Molded bisque doll with defined waistline
and bust.6.25" tall. She has socket head and jointed legs. Her hair is dark brown mohair. The  red taffeta dress has an inserted front panel of multi-stripe satin. The sleeves are trimmed with lace and the dress is fastened with the traditional small gold safety pin. Her slip is a long white cotton net . She also has  long white cotton pantalets and black painted slipper shoes. Her matching red taffeta hat is trimmed with flowing ribbons in various colors.
