Description
This is a beautiful Nancy Ann Storybook Doll. She was manufactured by the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Company, U.S.A. between 1936 and 1948. The back stamp reads "Story Book Doll USA Pat" . Also included is a plastic heart shaped stand which says "Knickerbocker plastics co."
She has auburn hair, jointed arms and legs. She is wearing a dark pink satin dress with white lace on the skirt. She also has on a cream felt hat with a dark pink ribbon. She is wearing long striped satin pantaloons. She has painted black shoes. These dolls belonged to my mother.
I looked at pages of pictures and could not find the name of the doll. I wonder if this doll was manufactured before the company named them?
Description of the condition of the doll

This doll is approximately 5.5 inches tall. She is made of bisque. (See closeup pictures.) The doll does not have any chips, cracks, or broken areas. She is, in my opinion, in excellent condition for her age. Her face paint is perfect.
