This fun listing is one lot of a large group of vintage dolls (Barbies, Madame Alexanders, Ginnys and many others), clothing, and accessories, most dating to the 1960s, which we are offering for sale over the next few weeks. Please be sure to save us to your favorite sellers list and check back often.
Today we are delighted to offer for sale a sweet lot of four vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls NASB dating to the 1940-50s.  Two dolls are composition, two are hard plastic with sleep eyes.
First doll is a composition doll with a pudgy body and stationary legs.  She has a beautifurl curly blonde wig and a sweet outfit comprised of a blue satin dress with red rick rack trim which ties in the back, a red felt bonnet with a purple flower cluster and white gauze pantaloons.  Doll has a chip on her body above her left arm and a small chip on her right foot. Her dress is slightly faded from display and the red ribbon ties are missing from her bonnet. 5.5".
Doll #2 is NASB #57, the Southern Belle.  She is composition, dark brunette curly long hair, frozen legs, pudgy body, with painted eyes.  Wearing a Scarlett O'Hara style cotton print gown with black trim, safety pinned at the back, white slip, white cotton pantaloons and a big black straw hat which ties under her chin. Clothing is dusty -- could use laundering but otherwise very good. 5.5".
Doll #3 is model #72 from the Commencement Series, First Day of School: a hard plastic doll with jointed arms and legs, head is jointed at her neck, blue sleep eyes, brunette wig which is slightly messy.  She's wearing a sweet pink & white gingham dress with blue lace trim and white slip lining with lace trim, large pink felt bonnet with matching lace trim, ties under the chin, white pantaloons with lace trim, painted white booties. She also has a blue paper school book tied to her wrist.  Dress closes with a snap. Penciled on one foot is "Sally."  Very good condition with one small paint smudge on her right cheek. 5.5".
Doll #4
is a hard plastic doll with jointed arms and legs, head is jointed at her neck, light sleep eyes, and blonde wig which is slightly messy. Her adorable outfit consists of a pink dress with an alphabet print, attached white apron trimmed with embroidery, matching pink pantaloons with embroidered trim, and a pink felt bonnet which ties under her chin.  Her black shoes are painted on.  Dress closes with a snap. Very good condition with ribbons starting to fray and one small dot on her apron. 5.5".
Included is the original box for the First Day of School doll, #72, described above. Box is in good condition with fading, rip on one side of the lid, original silver foil label, penciled priced of 1.65, penciled "Sally", and two Boys Town stamps on the lid.
Items are in very good/good, as-found, vintage condition, with discoloration and wear commensurate with age, storage and light play.
There may be some musty smells associated with the dolls or their clothing.
