When the original Sanremo Speedsuit stormed to victory upon Johan Vansummeren's shoulders at the 2011 Paris-Roubaix, no one had ever seen anything like it. A skinsuit for road racing. With three rear pockets. With skinsuit construction for three-quarters of the circumference of the waist, but an overlapping front that makes it easy to put on, easy for pee stops and easy to open up for hot climbs. Every other pro team struggled to catch up while Catelli set about making the speedsuit even better. They shifted from a Lycra® fabric on the front (too wet) to a 98% polyester fabric to keep you dry, and in the process gave it a bit of surface texture that made it even faster in the wind tunnel. Having continued to work on the fit and comfort, this year Castelli updated the short portion to their best race short, the Free Aero Race short. It’s the fastest, most comfortable road riding suit you can buy.

Air seatpad is constructed in 3 layer components, each dedicated to a specific purpose to create the most comfortable seat pad on the planet.
1. Skin care layer:
A four-way stretch, microdenier, seamless, bacteriostatic layer made to adapt to the shape of your body and saddle without any folds in the fabric.
2. Seamless integrated technology cushioning layer:
Multi-density foam with infinitely variable thickness. The thickness of the pad is engineered to place the padding where you need it most for maximum comfort.
3. Viscous comfort inserts:
Perforated viscous padding is added under the highly sensitive ishial and perineum pressure areas.

Notes about Castelli sizing
This is a European Semi Form Fit and will fit smaller than regular Castelli.
1. On the bike, your Castelli skinsuits should fit close to the skin.
2. Off the bike, your Castelli Sanremo will feel tight across the shoulders and a little
short in front when standing up
