DESCRIPTION & CONDITION
Up for auction is a gently used vintage storybook doll with hand painted facial features including her shoes. This doll is in
overall very good condition
considering it was handled by a child when new, but does have typical age and storage wear a
s seen in the photos.  This little doll is intact with original tag. That said, it does show age yellowing on the under garments, handling frizzy hair, wrinkled clothing and has a mild age odor due to long term poor storage in it's box.  There is a safety pin on the backside. Not sure if it's part of the dress or added on later. The box is damaged, is missing the bottom half but the portion that's left has its lable which is important. For some reason, this doll does not have a visible mark on her back, unless it's below the waistline which would be covered by the high waisted pants. I will not remove the pin to check because of how it was placed and wont be able to place it back as it should be. Who knows, maybe its a rare doll with a manufacturing flaw. You have to believe it's original by its arm tag as are the others I'm listing that came from the same home. Other than what's mentioned,
